Hosted by me, Gem, creating for you this unique day of yoga, connection, creativity, relaxation, delicious food, mindfulness & an in-depth mālā necklace workshop from the wonderful Nas from Piece Designs. 

 

Gem will guide you through a wonderful meditation & fluid vinyasa yoga flow to invoke a sense inner awareness & calmness through breath & movement, ending with an extended restorative shavasana to fully relax & unwind.

 

 Nas will invite you to relax & spend calming time learning how to make your own mālā, while she shares their history & teaches you the skill of Japa meditation.

Join us on Sunday 27th November in the quiet village of Martyr Worthy, Winchester, which is surrounded by quaint little villages & beautiful countryside, which we will explore some of during a relaxing walk. Come experience a unique & special day away from the busy to do's & life's requests. Spend time being mindful, calm & intrigued by trying something new, inspiring, creative & relaxing. This day will be like no other & you will be pleasantly reminded of the blissful day each time you see or hold at your precious mālā creation.

*All equipment is provided. You can of course bring your own mat & blanket if you prefer.

The Venue

Martyr Worthy is a small & quaint village in the English county of Hampshire & is located on the banks of the River Itchen to the northeast of the city of Winchester. The venue itself has served the local community for over 100 years & is among the small village with beautiful countryside & river walks on its doorstep. St Swithun’s Way, which forms the first stage of the Pilgrims Way long-distance path from Winchester to Canterbury, passes alongside the hall and the beautiful River Itchen is a short distance away down the lane

The Food

A calming & healing herbal tea will greet you on arrival, along with plant-based sweet treats. A delicious lunch is provided by Nas, who loves to prepare and share delicious food, inspired by Middle Eastern and Asian flavours. Growing up with a mother who loves to cook Persian food, Nas absorbed spices into her life and through her travels, continued to learn and taste new flavours. Her food is full of passion, flavour and colour, using the finest quality ingredients & will be plant-based &/or vegetarian.
